Clone Tool - Before & After Spot Healing Tool - Before & After Black & White Contrast - Before & After
This is a photo of a little boy playing baseball with his coach helping him. I chose to use the clone tool and edit out the coach because it makes the picture look like the little boy is hitting the ball all by himself. This tool is great for removing objects you don't want in a photo.

This is a photo of someone with a scar on their forehead. I used the spot healing tool to remove the scar from the photo and make it more appealing. This tool is great for removing blemishes and scars from photos, especially important ones like grad photos, family photos, school photos, or wedding photos.

This is a colored photo of bright pink flower. I used the black and white contrast tool to make the flower in the photo pop out more. I kept the background black and white and edited the flower to stay the bright pink color. This is a great tool to make photos eye catching and bring out the focal point of the picture.

Black & White to Color - Before and AfterThis is an old black and white family photo that I edited color into. I used the black and white to color tools such as the magnetic lasso, selection tools, and changed a lot of hue and saturation. I loved this project because you wanted to get it done to see the outcome, and I think it really proves that photoshop can do amazing things - not just make the girls on covers of magazines look totally different than they do in real life. There's much more to the program. This is a great idea to use to bring old black and white family photos to life again, and make your family maybe even shed a tear!

This is a picture I edited in photoshop for an "Intro to Layers" assignment. I touched up the picture of this baby, and then added two other layers to the photo on photoshop. I added a layer for the heart photo, and then another layer for the text. This is a great idea for photographers, or even something easy to do at home to make a regular boring picture look more fancy or unique. You can add the baby's name like I did, or the date of birth, a quote, etc; The options are unlimited!
